Mizpah Tailoring School
Mizpah Tailoring School was started with the aim of empowering women in the community and providing them with opportunities for economic independence by utilizing their available skills. Through this training, women are able to sew clothes and generate income through it. This also helps them contribute to their communities. Sewing machines are provided free of cost to those who successfully complete their studies. This helps them achieve empowerment and self-sufficiency. As part of the vision given to Pastor Roy Cherian, Mispa Tailoring School was started in the year 2004 for the welfare of women in Vadakarapati Nallur. God has helped it to run its operations successfully. Over the past 19 years, more than 465 children, including housewives, young women and school children, have been able to receive tailoring training from this institution. 221 sewing machines have been distributed to those who have completed their studies. Behind this work, there is the work, prayers and support of many.
